The most common and popular form of non-surgical treatment with real results are injectables, which have a long track record of safety and efficacy. We use several types of fillers depending on the area a given patient would like addressed, but common sites include the marionette lines, the nasolabial folds (the lip-cheek grooves), the tear troughs (nasojugal grooves), lips, cheeks, temples, and pre-jowl grooves. Made from hyaluronic acid, dermal filers add bulk using a naturally occurring substance, so it is absorbed naturally without scarring, and can be reversed by injection of an enzyme.  Preparations of hyaluronic acid fillers are offered in a variety of consistencies, with “thin” fillers best used to augment the lips, tear troughs, and fine facial lines, and “thick” fillers being better suited for the cheeks.

We use microcannulas to deliver the filler material when possible, which differ from the traditional needles because they cause less tissue trauma, which not only makes the treatment more comfortable, but also decreases the risks of bruising and swelling.
